Bartlett Woods is an active retirement community located in the historic Midcoast town of Rockland, Maine. Situated on the largest harbor in Penobscot Bay, Rockland  is in the midst of a cultural and commercial renaissance that has produced a thriving arts community and a lively downtown with shops, restaurants and galleries to meet every taste. The Bartlett Woods campus is in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. Bartlett House offers one and two bedroom rental apartments and community facilities including a lovely dining room, a private dining room, a library with a computer center, a wellness center and a hair care salon. Bartlett House is a licensed assisted living facility and we can bring assisted living services into your independent living apartment. The Cottages at Bartlett Woods, located adjacent to Bartlett House, offer cooperatively owned two bedroom duplex homes. Residents of The Cottages have access to all of the community facilities in Bartlett House.
