Candace's Corner
Spring is
such a wonderful time of year – the perfect weather and everything’s in
bloom! Which reminds me, the gardeners are doing a terrific job outside;
it seems every day there’s something new to see.
Mary Eads, our Executive Director, celebrated her
1-year anniversary last month -- Happy Anniversary! Thank you for all
your hard work and dedication.
We would like to welcome and congratulate Aaron
Prescott on his new position as Dietary Director. Aaron comes to us from
the Waterfront Restaurant and we're already impressed by his talents.

A Matter of Balance class to be held at Bartlett Woods
Retirement Community
Bartlett Woods Retirement Community is hosting the
nationally recognized class A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns about
Falls. This fun and informative eight-week class emphasizes practical
strategies to reduce the fear of falling and helps to increases activity
levels in seniors.

Competitive Croquet
The "Sticky Wickets" as they like
to be called, have challenged the croquet team from Quarry Hill
Retirement Community to a match. This will take place on Tuesday June
15, at 2:00 pm. Feel free to stop by and cheer for our devoted croquet
team.
Representative Edward Mazurek
Representative Mazurek
will be visiting the residents of Bartlett Woods to answer questions about "Question One" on the upcoming election.
Allison Abbott
We welcome the daughter of our newest
residents. Allison Abbottt will be presenting a slideshow about living
in
Southern Mexico.
Exercise Classes
We would like to thank Victor Gould for
hosting his weekly exercise classes. As always they’re well attended and
beneficial.

We have been enjoying our pool outings at

We are so lucky to have Cheryl Willis volunteer
her time and talent to make our birthday parties so special. She always
brings a delightful homemade cake (that she bakes with special love),
ice cream and her wonderful smile. And the best part is that it doesn't
have to be your birthday to enjoy the party! Add music by John McTaggart
and it's a special afternoon!
